The feed indicator, located in front of microtome is operated by the latest 'Cam Drive System' for accurate feed setting from 1-50 microns in steps of one micron. The interior mechanism rests on a heavy cast iron base and is covered with a full swing protective cover for easier cleaning and lubrication. The equipment includes independent feed mechanism with automatic safety device, universal knife holder with lateral movements permitting use of the entire knife edge, universal vice type object holder for accurate centering of the specimen.The instrument ensures life-long smooth operation. Individual components are fabricated and assembled using latest technology and selected materials. The knife supplied with the microtome is fabricated from imported fine grain steel tested for micro-structure and is heat treated for optimum rigidity and sharpness. MC932 : Semi Automatic Rotary Microtome

Compact ergonomic design with motorized section cutting and manual override modes. All important controls are easily accessible and conveniently located. Operations are accessible from display board or manually by hand wheel. Smooth running hand wheel with integrated quick lock mechanism for safety. It has different sectioning modes such continuous, single step stroke and programme mode. Sectioning mode has section thickness range from 0.5 - 100 micron. Cutting thickness can be customized by the user very easily as per requirement. Trimming mode has range from 1 - 500 micron. which can be customized by the user very easily as per requirement. It has stepper motor with range of 30mm feed motion and vertical stroke of 50 mm. It has coarse feed mode for both forward and backward movement through separate switch.
